Notice about Color Accuracy, Pattern Orientation, Product Use and Packaging

Color Accuracy: While we offer swatches in an effort to provide you with as much information as possible to make an informed purchase, Stitch Simple does not guarantee exact matches on Fabric Pieces or on manufacturers' coordinates. We also do not guarantee that the colors you see on the monitor will match the colors of the actual item. Stitch Simple makes every effort to represent color accurately, however, every monitor is different. In addition, colors on actual items vary from lot to lot. Some manufacturers even refuse to guarantee exact matches on coordinates! We feel that slight variations in color are part of the natural beauty of fabric creations and often times go unnoticed. We do, however, want to make you aware of this reality of working with fabric.

Pattern Orientation: We do not guarantee that each Fabric Piece will be exactly the same or that it will match the Fabric Piece that you see on the monitor. Stitch Simple offers a regularly updated assortment of fabric selections and we provide a scaled image of all products to assist you with your selection. We offer large prints, small prints, batiks- anything that we think you will love! Please note that each Fabric Piece in your order will not be exactly the same. We feel that this kind of variation adds to the natural beauty of fabric creations. If this fact concerns you, we recommend that you choose small, random scale prints without geometric elements such as stripes or diamonds to improve the chances that each of your Fabric Pieces will appear to be the same.

Product Use: Neither Stitch Simple nor the original manufacturer can be held responsible for your use of any Stitch Simple products. We also do not guarantee that our products will not fade, bleed or run after further washing. Stitch Simple is a retailer of fabric for quilting, sewing and crafting projects, which is not intended for use by children 12 years of age or younger.  Many fabric manufacturers specifically label their products as “Not Intended for Use in Children's Sleepwear”, and we note this information for such products. Children's Sleepwear is defined by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission as "any article of clothing, such as a nightgown, pajama, robe or loungewear, that is sized above 9 months and up to size 14 and that is intended to be worn primarily for sleeping or activities related to sleeping".  For more information about requirements for Children's Sleepwear, please visit our Learn About Quilting page.  Stitch Simple also provides you with the Manufacturer's Label Information for each of our products. Included in this information are the Care Instructions for your fabric purchase. All Stitch Simple products are prewashed in cold water on delicate cycle and dried using a low temperature setting. Despite this prewashing step, we do not guarantee that our products will not fade, bleed or run after further washing.

Packaging: Excessive handling of cut fabric causes the weave to unravel. To reduce handling and keep the fabric in your order in the best condition possible, it is necessary for you to pay attention to the orientation of the pattern on each piece as you work through a pack.
